Announcing installation of dual head welder

ACS Steel is pleased to announce the installation of a dual head welder.

Using a Lincoln 1000 AMP DC and a Lincoln 1200 AMP AC power source with Lincoln NA3S and NA4 dual head controllers, ACS can now weld thicker cylinders in half the time.

With tandem submerged arc welding (SAW), deposition rates are at least double those achievable with a single-wire.
